We have several 49 state legal converters (not legal in California) for the 2002 Lexus ES 300. They can be split into direct fit and universal fit.
For a direct fit rear, you can use # MF26214 or the OEM # MF49992.
For a direct fit rear manifold OEM fit converter, you can use # MF49991 or aftermarket # MF50260.

The discontinued multi-fit trailer hitch 37042 does not fit the 2002 Lexus ES 300. For a custom fit hitch that will fit your Lexus you can use # 36336. This is a Class II hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver. It is rated for 300 pounds tongue weight and 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight but is limited to the capacity of the vehicle.

Yes and no, a leaf spring with a lower capacity will provide a better quality ride than a leaf spring with a higher capacity but you will not want to make that part the lowest rated suspension component. Typically, we recommend choosing a leaf spring with a capacity that either meets or exceeds the capacity of the axle. All of the trailer wiring harnesses for the 1994 Lexus ES 300 are hardwire kits meaning you will have to splice them into the tail light wiring on the vehicle.
